Some views of our store:

Here I am on Wednesday, May 2, with our very first customer, Kelly:

Here's what it looked like with the carpet in and the walls painted a nice, kraft-y color. (It's still
lighter than I asked for, however, because the contractor worried it would be too dark!)

Here's the progress as of April 2. They've got the new bathroom drywalled in at the center in the back,
there's a channel cut in the floor for the electrical to reach the cash wrap at the front center of the store, and the
walls are painted. Merchandise has started to show up, too, even though the vendors were told to hold everything for a few
more weeks!

Here's what it looked like Wednesday the 14th. They've knocked down the wall, taken up
the carpet (including the lovely pink carpet in the hair salon space), and evened out the ceiling. The guy in the photo is
the contractor's son. I told him to wave at the camera.
Things are moving right along!

3-9-07--Here's the sign fabricator's mock-up of how the front of the store will look
with the sign (though it will be centered over our space):

King Soopers is on the far left of the quilt store, then our store to the left of the largest column.

This is the left side of the space-- a former hair salon. They're going to knock down the wall on the right
to connect it to the right side of the space, which is currently an empty shell:
